Services — Wills

The document that decides who you trust — not the law.

A Will is the foundation of any estate plan. Without one, decisions about your family and your assets are left to a fixed set of rules, not your wishes.

What Is A Will

A clear, legally sound statement of your wishes.

A Will is a legally binding document that sets out what should happen to your money, property and possessions after you die — and who should look after any children under 18. It lets you choose your executors, name your beneficiaries exactly as you intend, and leave specific gifts to the people and causes that matter to you.

Done properly, it removes doubt at the exact moment your family can least afford any.

What Happens Without One

The law does not know who you meant to provide for. It only knows the rules.

If you die without a valid Will, your estate is distributed according to fixed intestacy rules — not your wishes. Unmarried partners can receive nothing, however long you were together. Step-children can be excluded entirely. Assets can pass to relatives you barely know, while the people you actually meant to provide for are left with no guarantee at all.

This isn't a decision anyone makes on purpose. It's simply what happens when no decision is made.
